Abstract
This study investigates the effectiveness of an outcome-based health education package in enhancing health awareness among secondary school students. A pre-test and post-test experimental design was employed to measure the impact of the health education program on students’ awareness of key health concepts. A sample of 200 secondary school students was randomly assigned to either the experimental or control group. The experimental group received the health education package consisting of comprehensive modules on nutrition, physical activity, mental health, and hygiene, while the control group received regular health education. Data were collected via a structured questionnaire assessing health awareness. The results revealed that the experimental group significantly improved health awareness compared to the control group. The study concludes that outcome-based health education packages are an effective means of enhancing health awareness among secondary school students, suggesting that integrating such packages into school curricula could promote healthier lifestyles among adolescents.
