PRINT VS. VISUAL MEDIA: A STUDY ON T.S.ELIOT’S “THE LOVE SONG OF J. ALFERED PRUFROCK”

Abstract

The paper enfolds the difference between print and visual media by scrutinizing T.S.Eliot’s Poem “The Love Song of J.Alfered Prufrock.” While reading a book, the author’s writing takes away the reader’s control and makes the readers imagine the situation with the plot. But while watching an audio-visual aid, it replicates the authors’ vision through one’s particular imagination. Nowadays, many poems are presented as audio, visual, and audio-visual sequences. Presenting a scene on the screen is very much appreciated by the audience. Whereas, the audio-visual creator needs to satisfy both the writing of the author and the needs of the audience.
